Golf
Neston Ramblers Golf Society
As the Ramblers approached their middle years. alternative branches of the franchise were sought, as the sighting of neoprene and bandages became more and more common in the dressing room. So, golf seemed to be a natural progression.
An advance party set out in 1995 to play in the wild of Ireland just South of Dublin. The party was:-
James Fergusson
Robbie Irving
Barry Tunna
John Hughes
Damian Walsh
This successful introduction turned out to be the start of many great golfing trips. Quickly, 2 annual events were organised with a summer tour in May, and an Autumn meeting nearer to home.
